HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD

The Lord our God, the Lord is wise, our God is great;
our only God, attend our cries that God is great!

We honor and submit to thee, with heads bowed low;
on hands and knees, we recognize that God is great!

The meadows bloom, the rivers flood and oceans flow;
the sun and moon forever rise, for God is great!

Pay homage to His might; be certain that you go
before him in a humble guise, for God is great!

Obey the Lord, defend the Lord, observe His word;
resist the sinner who denies that God is great!

Be most severe when heresy is overheard
until the disbeliever sighs that God is great!

O God, who by the glorification of your Christ
and the light of the Holy Spirit
have unlocked for us the gates of eternity,
grant, we pray,
that, partaking of so great a gift,
our devotion may grow deeper
and our faith be strengthened.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

GOD'S LOVE IS UNMEASURABLE TOWARDS MAN

Something is wrong with the human race. We all sense it. Things aren't the way they should be. Not in the world. Not in our neighbors. Not in ourselves.

We aren't as kind, as generous, or as loving as we should be. We do things we shouldn't. We are selfish, arrogant, sometimes even cruel. We use other people for our own ends. We fall short even of our own low standards.

The Bible has a word for this: sin.

WE CAN'T ESCAPE

Sin is a constant of the human condition. It's all around us. It's inside us, too. We are all sinners. Sometimes our sins are written large, like adultery or murder. Sometimes they are buried in a c ... Read more »

No One's Unlovable
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. THE CHURCH TEACHES US ABOUT THE MERCIFUL.
Simple Prayers which helps in building GOD's to man relationship are been taught by the Church. but lets always put this in our minds, that accepting our faults and asking for the forgiveness of them all is very important in God's to man relation. He gonna take us back because he cares alot. Blessed be God.

Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin.

OR

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help ... Read more »
